In 2022, you helped the Veterans Resource Station raise $2,043 to support our veteran and military-connected students! Our office has accomplished so many things over the past year, and we couldn’t have done it without the generosity and support of our community – thank you!
Last week, we launched a new project with the goal of raising $2,500 for our Moonbeam Fund. We are also excited to have a matching gift of $1,000 from an anonymous donor who believes in our work at the VRS. Please help us reach our goal by visiting our new project page.
With your ongoing support of the VRS and the Moonbeam Fund, we can continue serving our veterans and military-connected students so they can thrive on NKU’s campus and find success when they graduate!

When veteran and military-connected students have access to resources like free printing or book grants, it makes academia easier to navigate and increases the likelihood of a successful college career. Our office meets students where they are; we couldn’t do the work without you!

Will combine with other donations to build the Moonbeam fund to appropriate levels to offer grants and scholarships
Could cover the $50 graduation fee for a student or provide a one-time supplemental book grant for a student.
Could cover the additional cost our Active Duty service members, non-KY National Guard members and Reservists who use the Federal Tuition Assistance (T/A) pay for a typical single course. This could also support the service members who do not qualify for 100% of the GI bill to offset extra fees and costs of materials.
Could cover a semester of books for one student and cover additional fees that pop up.
Could provide a semester's worth of books and materials for two students. This can also help supplement education costs not covered by Federal Tuition Assistance.
