About Crowdfunding

Impact NKU is an online crowdfunding program that makes it easy for faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members to raise funds to support projects and programs at Northern Kentucky University.

How Does It Work?

There are so many great things happening at NKU all the time.  The reality is that many of those things require philanthropic support to keep them going - or to get them started. Impact NKU project provides the online platform to spread the word to friends, family, coworkers and all those in your social networks. Raising money for your cause has never been so easy!

What Kind of Things Can I Raise Money For?

Projects must support a specific need at NKU that directly impacts students and the University mission. To date, there have been fundraising campaigns to upgrade hardware and software for the Cyber Defense Team; sponsor students for a leadership retreat; and more.

How Much Money Can I Raise?

Fundraising goals should stay within a modest fundraising range of $1,000-$15,000. Goals are determined by various factors, including the scope of your social network. Our team is here to help you determine an attainable goal and guide you to success!

How do I get started?

It's easy!  Just fill out an online application here or by clicking the "Apply" link in the top right corner of the Impact NKU web site. Once you've submitted your application, we will contact you to discuss your project and help you get started fundraising!
