THANK YOU for your amazing support!

April 26, 2022

Because of your caring heart and generosity, we far exceeded our original goal of $3,000 AND our push-goal of $4,000! With the generous match of $1,000 by the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, we raised $4,697 for RefugeeConnect to hire their first Health Navigator!

RefugeeConnect increased their services during the pandemic. In the process of growing their service to meet the needs of the refugee community, they came up with the new service model of Health Navigators. The refugee community definitely needs help in navigating the healthcare system, and we are SO proud to contribute to kick-start the Health Navigator Program at RefugeeConnect - thank you so much for joining us!

Will you help us reach $4,000?

March 29, 2022

THANK YOU to everyone who has supported our project so far. It has been so exciting to see our project's progress – we surpassed our goal in less than one week! Because of this overwhelming support, our class has decided to announce a push-goal of $4,000.

Through this project, we have learned so much about funding for non-profits and how RefugeeConnect, a very small agency, has been working hard through the pandemic.  Read below to find out what we have learned so far:

"RefugeeConnect dealt with the impact of the pandemic by going completely online and learning new ways to communicate with the community. RefugeeConnect went from helping 50 families pre-pandemic to helping about 200 families, so they ended up growing during the pandemic - which is unusual. I learned that RefugeeConnect handled the pandemic in a great way. I feel that they were able to find ways to support and help the community." - SWK 405 student

"Individual donations play such an important and vital role for non-profits like RefugeeConnect. Non-profits rely on outside funding efforts to support their various causes, so individual donations are crucial for the overall success of a non-profit's mission." -  SWK 405 student

Will you share our campaign and help us reach our push-goal of $4,000?

WOW - we met our match!

March 25, 2022

To everyone who has supported our project so far, THANK YOU for helping us reach our $1,000 match. Thanks to you and the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, $2,000 will be on its way soon to RefugeeConnect.

We still have work to do to meet our $3,000 goal. Please help us serve our refugee community by sharing this project with your friends and family. The more people we can reach, the more refugees we can help navigate the US healthcare system to live happy, healthy lives in the United States.
