Only a few days left to support our fundraiser for the Steely Library Teacher Resource Center.  A BIG thank you to all those who have donated to this cause.  In addition, a grateful shout out to the Friends of Steely Library for their generous matching of each donation.

Plans include purchasing a variety of books and materials with the funds raised to enhance story time resources.  With the new story time materials, the goal is to continue to provide quality encounters with books and literacy activities that will foster a love of reading and learning among the children who participate in Story Time.

"Story Time in the Library helps develop early literacy skills, a love for language, and creates a connection to the library. Education students have the opportunity to lead story time for a hands-on learning experience outside the classroom. Students create lesson plans and lead story time under the direction of our Teacher Resource Center librarian. Story Time allows NKU students to impact potential NKU students!"
