Bundles of Books

Every week, something special happens on NKU's Campus.  Deep within the recesses of Steely Library, we're fighting dragons, exploring jungles, and flying to new heights.  How is this possible?  With Story Time, of course!

With the help of our campus volunteers, we host a Story Time hour for the children of NKU's Early Childhood Center, as well as other local families.  And as you may know, kids are hard on books.  Some of our kits are missing pieces, pages, or in poor shape and not always representative of the children we serve.

That's why we are seeking to raise $3,000 to support our Teacher Resource Center and expand our Story Time collection to feature more titles, including Coretta Scott King Book Award* winners. 

And thanks to a generous matching gift from the Friends of Steely Library, your donation will be matched dollar-for-dollar!   

Why is this important to us?  Because it's important to the kids!  We want ALL children who visit us to see themselves represented on the pages of the books that are shared with them. And for those books to be of good quality.  Your support will help the TRC accomplish this goal.
