Announcing our 2019-20 scholarship recipients...

April 26, 2019

The NKU Grant County Scholarship Committee has some exciting news to share...

Kendyl Nolan (Walton Verona) and Jacob Helmer (Williamstown) have been selected to receive the NKU Grant County Student Scholarship award for the 2019-20 academic year in the amount of $1,000 each.

We could not have done this without you!  Thank you again to everyone who gave over the past month to support the scholarship.  Because of you, these two students have an even brighter future ahead of them.  THANK YOU!

The cash keeps rolling in!

April 18, 2019

Good news!  We have heard from many folks in the community interested in supporting our student scholarship, but haven’t had time to make their donation yet.  And as we are still receiving cash and check donations through our office, we have decided to keep this project open another week!

We will now be closing this project at midnight on Friday, April 26th.  If you still want to support the scholarship, you now have another week to help provide a Grant County student with a life-changing opportunity!

If you have already made your donation, THANK YOU!  If you would like to help even more, share our project on social media with your friends!  Impact.nku.edu/NKUGrantCounty

Students like Katelyn will thank you!

March 28, 2019

Thank you to everyone who has donated to the scholarship so far!  Your support means so much to our students.  But don't just take our word for it!  Here is what Katelyn had to say about her scholarship...

"My freshman year at NKU Grant County, I was awarded a $500 scholarship. I used this award to pay for all of my textbooks as well as some of my tuition! I am extremely grateful for donors who choose to support college students like me. Your contribution to my education is appreciated.  Thank you!" – Katelyn  Elementary & Special Education major, Class of 2020.

Plans are well underway to select a new group of scholarship recipients.  The NKU Grant County Student Scholarship committee will meet April 12 to make the decisions for the 2019-20 academic year.  Thank you again for investing in the future of these students.  We can't wait to share the stories of those you have directly impacted through your support.
