NLS Alumni, Family, and Friends,

WE MADE IT!! We cannot even begin to thank you for the generosity and support you have shown over the last month. Because of YOU, 100 emerging student-leaders will now experience the 25th NLS Fall Retreat, Beyond the Horizon, for almost no cost! On behalf of the Norse Leadership Society, our membership, and the students you have helped, we would like to thank you so much. Because of you, we can continue our work of making the 25th Fall Retreat the best it can be, and that no student is turned away for financial reasons.

When we found out that we met our goal, we celebrated. Yet again, we were reminded how lucky we are to be part of this special community. Now, we celebrate you and the impact your gifts will have on our participants. We continue to be inspired by hearing about your own Fall Retreat stories, and the love and passion you have for this experience. Just think about the stories your generosity will have a hand in creating!

Going forward, we will do our best to honor you, and your contributions to this special retreat in all that we do. We owe it to you, and all the students who will experience the retreat this year, to create an unforgettable four days in Pigeon Forge. Hopefully, they will have an experience that inspires them to pay it forward, just as each of you have. Until then, we are excited to share updates about our preparation and the retreat itself. NLS Alumni, Family, and Friends, 

Thank you for your generosity and support. We appreciate it more than you know. However, even though we are excited, there is still more work to be done, and we need your help.

I know we have all been stretched recently, but your support means more than you realize. Whether it's a donation, or sharing our IMPACT page to help us spread the word, your support could mean the world to a student who truly needs this experience. I know that to be true personally, because without the support of others, I never would have gotten to experience Fall Retreat for myself and I likely wouldn't be an NLS member or a retreat co-chair today.

We have a little over 4 days to raise $2,629. I know that together, we can get there. Together, we can make sure that the 25th Fall Retreat accessible to all students. We can't wait to celebrate with you when we reach our goal.

Wow, what a day! We’ve broken $2,000! That’s nearly one-third of our goal! We are extremely excited! On behalf of the NLS membership and all of the students who will benefit because of your generosity, we would like to sincerely thank you for your support. We are so appreciative.

As co-chairs, one of our favorite parts of this experience has been speaking with retreat alumni. You have shared your stories and told us of the impact the retreat has had on your lives over the last 24 years.  Not only have we learned and grown, you have inspired us even further.

Join us now as we go Beyond the Horizon - honoring our past, and running toward this year’s retreat and all that comes after. With your support, we can inspire the next generation of leaders at NKU. We cannot wait to celebrate with you when it happens. Thank you.
