At Northern Kentucky University, no student should have to choose between buying textbooks or affording basic essentials like clothing. Yet, clothing insecurity is a growing and often invisible challenge to accessing an education. The Care Closet @NKU exists to bridge that gap—providing free, accessible business and everyday attire to students in need so they can focus on what truly matters: their education.
This campaign directly supports the UCAP and Gown Program, which gives graduating students access to caps and gowns at no cost—ensuring that financial hardship doesn’t prevent anyone from celebrating this huge achievement. A cap and gown may seem small, but for many students, it symbolizes resilience, accomplishment, and hope.

- Professional and casual clothing for students attending interviews, internships, or class
- Reusable Shopping Bags to help students comfortably carry their items around campus and support our efforts of encouraging sustainability at NKU
