Support our NKU Dance Team!
As the NKU Dance Team, our team takes pride in being a part of NKU Athletics and our university community. Our primary mission is to effectively execute a school spirit program that supports the athletic teams, entertains, and promotes our University. We work countless hours all year round to support other athletic teams while also contributing to our surrounding community.
Each year, the team travels to Wisconsin to attend Universal Dance Association (UDA) Camp. This year, we won the gameday superior award and the spirit camp superior. In 2024, we won the collegiate recognition award for the first time in program history! We also compete at the Universal Dance Association (UDA) National Collegiate Dance Competition at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
Not only do we represent the Norse at athletic events and nationals, we participate in many community events, helping to spread awareness. We make appearances at the Buddy Walk for Down Syndrome, the DAV 5K for Disabled Veterans, local parades and host many youth camps throughout our season.
Outside of athletics, our athletes take pride in their academics and being involved around campus. Many athletes are involved in organizations such as Greek Life, NKU Honors College and have jobs on campus.
Your support can help provide much-needed relief to our team in many ways. Our team spends over $450 per dancer to travel to UDA camp each summer, textbooks can cost up to $500 or more each semester, and $300 on team gear. Your help can help us cover these costs.
Thank you for giving. You can help our team with travel and obtaining the necessities for us to be successful throughout our season!
Thank you for your support! NORSE UP!
