The Nu Rho Psi Neuroscience Honor Society needs your support so more members can attend scientific conferences and build their professional networks.
Who we are
Nu Rho Psi is a national honor society, and we are Kentucky's newest chapter. Many of our members are Neuroscience majors or minors. Full members must have a 3.5 GPA in neuroscience-related courses, but anyone with an interest in the brain and behavior can join.
What we do
We are committed to community service and education about mental health. Last year, we sponsored "Cookies for a Cause" to raise money for holiday gifts for an NKU family. We collaborated on a food drive to support the FUEL NKU food pantry on NKU's campus. We also held "Brain Awareness Week" to promote brain safety and mental health.
Why we need your help
Traveling to scientific conferences can cost over $2,000 when the price of registration, air fare, hotel and meals are added up. That means many undergraduate neuroscience students who are doing exciting research won't have the opportunity to present their scientific findings at prestigious national conferences. Your donation will support these deserving students who are working on important projects related to improving human health.
