Professor Robert Kues Memorial Scholarship

On Tuesday, October 27th, NKU's Department of Biological Sciences lost one of our most beloved and well-respected faculty members, Professor Rob Kues. Professor Kues served the NKU community since 1998 as a full-time lecturer and coordinator of the Human Anatomy and Physiology lectures and labs. He also taught School-Based Scholar Introductory Biology courses.

Professor Rob Kues was a great teacher who dedicated himself to making other teachers great, too. While known for his highly demanding and rigorous courses, Professor Kues will be remembered for his open office door and the support he offered in coaching and mentoring students toward success.

Dr. Kues with a live snakeProfessor Kues' passing will have an immense impact on the students he taught and the faculty and staff he worked with every day.

In memory of Professor Kues, his work, and dedication to the students of NKU, the Department of Biological Sciences is seeking to establish a scholarship in his name.

The Professor Robert Kues Memorial Scholarship will support NKU students interested in becoming high school biology teachers. Through this scholarship, Professor Rob Kues' legacy will live on through recipients who will continue his work of teaching and inspiring future generations.

The Department of Biological Sciences is inviting you to join us in honoring Professor Kues' memory by making a gift to the Professor Robert Kues Memorial Scholarship today.

Thank you in advance for your support.
