During this unprecedented time, it has been inspiring to witness the Northern Kentucky University community come together to support our students, both inside and outside of the virtual classroom. However, it is also necessary that we support our colleagues so we can all continue providing excellence to our students every day. By making a gift to the NKU Benevolent Fund, you will have the opportunity to assist your fellow employees who have found themselves with unforeseen financial needs during this challenging time.
In 1994, employees in the Physical Plant Department raised money to assist a co-worker who was afflicted with a terminal illness and had exhausted his benefits. Through these efforts, these employees were able to relieve many of their co-worker's medical expenses. This inspired the creation of the NKU Benevolent Fund, which collects donations to provide help to NKU employees in times of unforeseen need. Through the donations of NKU faculty and staff, the Benevolent Fund has been able to assist over 160 employees.
The NKU Benevolent Fund relies entirely on donor contributions. Gifts to the NKU Benevolent Fund can be made directly through this page or through payroll deduction. Thank you for supporting your fellow NKU employees!
