With only $2,090 remaining to raise, we are 58% of the way to our goal! If you have donated already, we are so grateful for your support!
Please take a moment to read a student's perspective on how this project will make a difference for our NPHC community:
The Alpha Rho Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta, Sorority Incorporated was chartered November 7th, 1999 by Six Illustrious women. Since then our chapter has grown and participated in numerous service and scholarship events on and off Northern Kentucky University’s campus. Alpha Rho has represented more than just the principles of Zeta, but also the values of NKU as a community.
Given that NKU is a predominantly white institution, it is imperative that Black organizations are able to have sufficient and eye-catching representation for prospective and incoming students. The implementation of plots would tremendously benefit Alpha Rho as a chapter in addition to The National Pan-Hellenic Council of Black Greek Letter Organizations as a whole by displaying our presence on campus. Further, plots would bring students who are unaware and/or uneducated on what NPHC organizations represent, and allow us the chance to proudly showcase our history and culture to the community, conceivably allowing for others to reach out to us and learn more.
Alpha Rho has been a part of Northern Kentucky University for two decades and we are enthusiastic about the years to come!
