Hallo! We’re glad you’re here.
This semester our German class is participating in the Mayerson Student Philanthropy Project. This project combines our learning of content with service learning in our local community—our focus has been on income inequality. Throughout the semester, we have become familiar with several nonprofit organizations in the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati area that address the issue of income inequality. We have decided to put our efforts into supporting the local nonprofit Crayons to Computers.
Crayons to Computers addresses the issue of income inequality by providing children from low-income families with the tools they'll need to succeed in school. Crayons to Computers provides items such as backpacks, pencils, and other school supplies free of cost to children in our local community who otherwise could not afford such items. To keep their shelves stocked, Crayons to Computers relies on donated school supplies and monetary donations.
We're asking for your help. Your donation of ANY value positively impacts the number of school supplies Crayons to Computers can provide to local students in need of them. If you cannot give at this time, we hope that you may pass on the word of Crayons to Computers—it is truly a great organization that deserves our support.
Sincerest thanks for your time and support. Danke schön!
