Thank you for helping to make an impact on the future of journalism! As our aspiring students launch their careers, they will incur many costs, and your support can help remove what could otherwise present obstacles to their pursuit of becoming a professional journalist to continue their excellent reporting.

Students have to start paying for the software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud @ $59.99/month, Microsoft 365 @ $69.99/year) that they were able to use for free while enrolled in classes learning their trade.
The cost of membership in the Society of Professional Journalists goes up from the student rate of $39.50/year to the professional rate of $78.75/year.
They may also need to upgrade their phones or other equipment to allow them to keep building their portfolio of professional work.
